Currently 15 weeks pregnant and noticing dry patches of skin on my arms. Since the start of pregnancy, my face has been so dry which I’ve never had in previous pregnancies but the dry skin this time around is crazy. I was so scared I had ringworm at first but I think it’s eczema/dry skin from pregnancy? Anyone else struggling with this?

hey girl!!
I too am 15 weeks and had a dry patch on my back at about maybe 8 weeks? I went to the dermatologist to rule out ringworm too and he said it was dry skin/eczema. He said that it’s typically seen in the 3rd trimester, but I just got it early.
It ended up going away on its own, then I got one on my belly, it too went away on its own :)

@faithoverrfear,
good to know thank you! I’ve never had this happen before so I was just a little shocked. I’m glad it went away for you!

I have a history of eczema but it’s been pretty mild as I got older. As soon as I became pregnant it’s been so bad. I went to a dermatologist and they ended up giving me a steroid to get rid of it and now after I’ve been off of it for a couple weeks it’s all coming back

@jmarielam,
oh no! I’m so sorry I know it can be so itchy and painful. My 3 year old gets bad flare ups and it’s tough. I use goat milk soap bars/lotions on myself and my daughters as well as tallow and that seems to help keep it at bay for her!
It’s so wild how pregnancy can make it flare up. Praying you find some relief soon!

Yep my eczema has been awful since I became pregnant. I’ve been trying to keep lotion on and using cortisone. So itchy

I would get some Eucerin or Gold Bond eczema lotion. I’ve had dry skin too and the Eucerin helps me.

I always get really bad eczema when I’m pregnant and have to get prescribed a steroid cream by a dermatologist. It usually flares up a little later in pregnancy for me but I’ve noticed some mild patches starting already

My hands are so dry to the point it hurts me and itches me. I didn't try anything yet, just some cream from time to time, which seems to help in the moment. Also changed my soap with something less harsh

Struggling with extreme dryness on my hands where my skin is cracking and bleeding on my knuckles. I’ve been using aquaphor at night and it’s been helping but I’ve never experienced dryness this badly before.

Oh yeah! I feel you, my psoriasis on my scalp has been flared up like crazy since week 10!
Also, has anyone been breaking out under or in between your breasts from boob sweat? I’ve had this itchy rash in my cleavage for a week now and it’s driving me crazy! I’m 13 weeks and 6 days today! Last day of first trimester! Woohoo!
